Job Title: Audit Supervisor

As a seasoned Audit Supervisor at Topel Forman, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality assurance services to our diverse client base. Your expertise will be instrumental in managing client engagements, building strong relationships, and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage client engagements from planning to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, fostering trust and loyalty.
  • Supervise and train junior team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their growth and development.
  • Identify and resolve client issues, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, researching and implementing new audit and accounting standards.
  • Provide constructive feedback to team members, promoting continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with partners and managers on business development initiatives, driving growth and revenue.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of progressive audit experience in a public accounting firm.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and GAAS, with experience in financial statement engagements.
  • Passionate about learning and growth, with a willingness to take on new challenges.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a focus on team development.
  • Dedication to delivering exceptional client service, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in MS Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in industries such as investment partnerships, private equity, broker/dealers, manufacturing, and distribution.
  • Personal and entity income taxation experience preferred but not required.
  • CPA certification or eligibility to sit for the exam.
