About the Role

Berry Global, Inc is seeking a skilled Palletizer Machine Operator to join our production team. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for monitoring and operating robotic palletizing machines to ensure efficient and safe production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and operate robotic palletizing machines to ensure proper stacking and wrapping of products
  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures, including LOTO, PPE, PIT, and Housekeeping
  • Manage and enact fault recovery processes for the Palletizer
  • Enter data into sorter HMI and maintain accurate records
  • Communicate effectively with leads and supervisors to ensure smooth production processes
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as needed
  • Determine if products meet specifications and take corrective action as necessary
  • Stack cases of product manually as needed
  • Assist with receiving and stocking pallets
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continuously
Requirements
  • Knowledge and skills to operate forklift trucks safely
  • Ability to take direction and work well with others
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good English writing, reading, and speaking skills
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules and operating instructions
  • Basic math skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Basic computer systems knowledge and inventory systems
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
Work Environment

The Palletizer Machine Operator will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with moderate to loud noise levels. The position requires the use of Personal Protective Equipment, including safety glasses, earplugs, bump caps, and steel-toed shoes. Additional PPE may be required for various tasks.

Organization Relationships

The Palletizer Machine Operator will report directly to the Group Lead and Warehouse Supervisor for purposes of scheduling, performance evaluation, and compensation assessment.
