The Role:

Are you ready for a challenging yet rewarding opportunity? This position provides operational support to an active fighter unit, where you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of the systems that keep our aircraft operational.

The F-35 Lightning II, the world's fifth-generation fighter, relies on more than just advanced materials and technology to achieve flight.

It is the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) that empowers F-35 operators to effectively plan, maintain, and sustain their systems throughout the lifecycle of the aircraft.

ALIS serves as the essential IT infrastructure that supports current and future military operations across U.S. and allied forces.

As vital members of the F-35 Operations Team, all ALIS administrators must be prepared to:

  • Obtain and maintain the necessary Special Access Program clearance for program access
  • Provide operational support to active fighter units, with a willingness to travel for military deployments/detachments as required.
  • Work various shifts, including weekends, to meet mission requirements.
  • Successfully complete a pre-employment medical examination to ensure readiness for deployment in potentially austere environments.
Daily Responsibilities:

As an ALIS Administrator within our F-35 ALIS team, you will take on diverse responsibilities, including mission planning, system administration, and network management.

ALIS Administrators are typically the first point of contact for user inquiries, addressing questions and troubleshooting reported issues.

You will be assigned various tasks to enhance your skills and expand your capabilities within the ALIS administrator role.


  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Daily interaction with users to provide assistance on the ALIS product suite
  • Performing COMSEC duties and adhering to compliance requirements
  • Supporting pilots in mission planning and debriefing, identifying and resolving system deficiencies
  • Installing and updating data for the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS)
  • Administering and monitoring associated hardware/software and pilot accounts
  • Ensuring the secure and efficient operation of multi-user computer systems through collaboration with peers and engineers
  • Training ALIS Administrators and users on the ALIS system as necessary
  • Conducting backups, restorations, and disaster recovery for systems/databases/network equipment
  • Reviewing processes and procedures, collecting operational data for analysis
  • Coordinating equipment installations with enterprise and local communication facilities
Desired Qualifications:

Candidates must be willing to travel to support customer needs both domestically and internationally for extended periods.
