Soliant is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our preschool team in Guilford, ME. As an SLP, you will work closely with preschoolers, their families, and our educational staff to provide individualized support and interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Speech and Language Assessments: Evaluate preschool-aged children's speech and language skills to identify areas of strength and weakness.
- Develop and Implement Therapy Plans: Create personalized therapy plans based on assessment results to support each child's developmental goals.
- Collaborate with Teachers and Parents: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support each child's developmental goals.
- Provide Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to children both individually and in group settings.
- Monitor Progress and Adjust Therapy Plans: Monitor and document progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Participate in Multidisciplinary Team Meetings: Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development and reviews.
- Educate Parents and Staff: Educate parents and staff on speech and language development and strategies for support.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: A master's degree in speech-language pathology is required.
- Current State Licensure: Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist is required.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP): A Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
- Previous Experience Working with Preschool-Aged Children: Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is highly desirable.
- Strong Communication, Organizational, and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
