About the RoleThis is a regular full-time position that will provide technical support for controls systems design, specifications, programming, simulation, and testing. The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects, including improving operating performance through the development of new and revised production methods, new tooling, equipment selection, and implementation.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, program, diagnose, and document electronic control systems
- Operate welder, drill press, cutoff saw, band saw, and other maintenance machinery and tools
- Use ammeter, oscilloscope, volt-ohm meter, printed circuit boards, and computers
- Complete paperwork as required, including job cards, inspection reports, logs, etc.
- Perform lead person responsibilities as designated
- Develop safe work procedures and plant installation standards for production equipment
- Develop and improve preventative and predictive maintenance practices
- Train other maintenance personnel
- Develop, organize, and implement maintenance projects
- Utilize CMMS to increase department projects
- Work with engineering in project development and completion
