Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement electrical and instrumentation designs to meet project requirements and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and optimize system performance.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance personnel to ensure efficient and safe operation of electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve system issues and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of electrical and instrumentation systems, including design drawings and specifications.
  • Participate in HAZOP studies and other safety-related initiatives to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of contractors and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
  • Travel to project sites as required to provide technical support and guidance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering, with a focus on industrial manufacturing environments.
  • Proven experience with medium and high voltage distribution system maintenance, as well as NFPA 70E work practices and ARC Flash methodology.
  • Strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
