Job Summary

AO Precision Manufacturing LLC is seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join our team in a machine shop environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC mills, lathes, and various hand tools, with a focus on precision machining and close-tolerance contract manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate one or more CNC machines to perform drilling, reaming, tapping, milling, boring, and other machine operations.
  • Position and change preset tools according to pre-established methods, with a focus on accuracy and precision.
  • Identify and document issues related to tools and processes, and implement corrective actions to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Perform necessary tool changes, gauge parts to blueprint specifications, and make machine offsets as required.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production/machining issues, and download part programs into machine controls.
Requirements
  • 5 years' experience operating conventional mills/lathes, NC mills/lathes, and various deburring/reaming hand tools, buffing/polishing wheels, and drill presses.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3 years of demonstrated ability to set up and operate CNC Mills, conventional mills, and various hand tools as required in a machine shop environment.
  • Ability to read blueprints, process documentation, and inspect using measuring devices.
