Job Description

Adecco is seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our team in a dynamic and challenging role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and qualify injection molding processes using scientific techniques and organizational SOP.
  • Execute initial functional testing of injection molds and troubleshoot molding processes and material or equipment issues.
  • Prepare, execute, and analyze experimental designs (DoE) to optimize molding processes.
  • Accurately document the complete processing phase and maintain mold process sheets for accuracy.
  • Support process technicians through training in scientific molding practices and lead continuous improvement and cost reduction activities.
  • Use Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other techniques to analyze process data and determine capabilities and improvements.
  • Program robots and peripheral equipment and install and remove molds (incl. water connections).
Requirements:
  • High School / College Diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in injection molding.
  • A working knowledge and experience with injection molding and ancillary equipment.
  • A working knowledge of a wide range of thermoplastic materials and their properties.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience working with different kinds of resins and a deep understanding of injection molding process and technology.
  • Experience with scientific molding approach and problem-solving and trouble shooting of processes.
  • Master Molder I / II qualification.
  • Experience working in a hands-on environment with constant interaction with mold technicians, quality engineers, and metrologists.
  • MS Office experience and experience with statistical software MiniTab preferable.
