Role Overview:
The Training General Manager will be responsible for fostering a superior customer experience for both DIY and professional clientele. This role involves guiding and mentoring store team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver an exceptional selling experience that meets the needs of our customers.
- Provide leadership and developmental coaching to store team members.
- Meet and exceed personal and store sales targets while achieving service objectives.
- Oversee DIY services, including battery installations and testing.
- Maintain high standards of customer service, promptly addressing any complaints regarding products and operations.
- Analyze and understand the factors that influence profit and loss.
- Act as the manager on duty, ensuring effective communication, issue resolution, and task management.
- Manage weekly scheduling processes for team members.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Support the operations of the commercial delivery program.
- Provide DIY services as needed.
Success Factors:
- Demonstrate ownership and accountability.
- Exhibit excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Possess strong knowledge of parts and automotive systems.
- Be able to train and execute advanced solutions and recommendations.
- Effectively manage inventory systems and store equipment.
Essential Skills:
- Working knowledge of automotive systems is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Experience Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience managing a team in a dynamic retail environment.
- Proven track record of managing profitability and demonstrating financial acumen.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
Physical Demands:
The role requires frequent walking or standing, with the ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Vision requirements include close, distance, and color vision.
Work Environment:
Typically, the work is performed indoors, with occasional outdoor tasks. Employees may encounter various weather conditions and are exposed to moderate noise levels.
Compensation:
Position is eligible for sales commission based on individual or store performance.
