We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at American Health Communities. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities:- Provide personalized healthcare to residents, including prescribed treatments and supervising other caregivers.
- Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing aides and support staff.
- Perform administrative duties, such as documenting assessments, managing inventory, and requesting supplies and equipment.
- Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as needed.
- Perform emergency procedures, including CPR.
- Current licensure in the state of Tennessee or a compact state as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Current CPR certification.
- Frequent lifting of objects up to 50 pounds.
- Supervise support staff, including training, scheduling, and assigning work; reviewing performance and assisting in problem-solving for staff issues.
