- Apply technical skills to optimize plant operations, resolve plant problems, and enable safe and efficient production of quality products.">
- Leverage problem-solving skills and technical expertise to work closely with the operations team.">
- Elevate and apply knowledge of the plant and technology, referencing historical data and conferring with subject matter experts.">
- Utilize process automation as a tool to optimize plant performance and ensure Most Effective Technology (MET) is understood.">
Responsibilities:

- Work closely with the operations team to leverage problem-solving skills and technical expertise.">
- Ensure compliance with plant operating permits and understand site integration to optimize the overall system.">
- Diagnose and document root causes of asset utilization losses in the facility.">
- Conduct daily review of logbook and alarm history to better understand plant operation and stay engaged with daily activities.">
- Maintain, own, and review daily Key Process Indicators (KPI)/trends to ensure optimum performance.">
- Respond urgently to plant issues and emergencies.">
- Act as a unit technical expert during unplanned events and drive implementation of effective corrective and preventative actions.">
- Provide leadership, expertise, diagnosis, and optimization in plant Raw Material Efficiency.">
Qualifications:

- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.">
- Must be willing to be available for on-call support outside of standard working hours.">
- Able to meet physical demands of the job, including working at heights, climbing stairs and ladders, and wearing personal protective equipment.">
