Job Overview:

As a Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Portfolio Managers in the management of diverse portfolios encompassing commercial real estate loans and properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the aggregation of data to facilitate lender decision-making, presenting analyses that inform investment strategies.
  • Support Portfolio Managers by executing tasks related to the oversight of assigned commercial real estate loan portfolios.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and associated contacts, while preparing various monthly and quarterly portfolio reports.
  • This role does not entail formal supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • A High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required, with a minimum of three years of relevant experience. A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • Ability to understand and interpret instructions, brief correspondence, and memos, along with the capacity to ask clarifying questions to ensure comprehension.
  • Proficient in writing routine reports and correspondence, and responding to common inquiries or complaints from clients and colleagues.
  • Capable of effectively presenting information to internal departments and larger groups.
  • Basic knowledge of financial terminology and principles is essential, along with the ability to perform simple calculations such as percentages.
  • Ability to follow general instructions and solve problems in standard situations, demonstrating basic analytical skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Decision-Making:

Decisions should be made with a general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve desired outcomes and timelines. Errors in judgment may have short-term implications for colleagues and supervisors.
