Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, organizing, and overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of products to ensure efficient operations.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of warehouse associates, providing coaching and guidance to achieve high standards.
- Supervise daily activities related to order selection, product replenishment, and shipment processes.
- Ensure the accurate unloading of finished goods and proper staging for inspection and counting.
- Conduct regular audits to verify documentation accuracy and material handling procedures, minimizing potential losses.
- Address discrepancies with invoicing and shipping documentation, ensuring timely data entry for inventory control.
- Develop and implement action plans to meet departmental performance goals.
- Promote a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and ensuring compliance among associates.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma required; a college degree is advantageous.
Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years in a warehouse setting is preferred, with a solid understanding of warehouse operations and systems.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (experience with SAP is a plus).
- Forklift certification is preferred, with training available for eligible candidates.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- A proactive approach to process improvement and operational efficiency.
Industry Knowledge: Experience in the pharmaceuticals sector is beneficial but not mandatory.
