Maternal Care Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Maternal Care Specialist to join our team at Henrico Doctors' Hospital Forest. As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform maternal assessments and provide appropriate interventions for patients
  • Use appropriate interventions for OB pain management and perform/monitor OB anesthesia/analgesia
  • Demonstrate support of Lactation Services and perform Labor and Delivery surgical procedures
  • Communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team
  • Respond to acute changes in unit and patient conditions
  • Ensure medications are administered according to hospital policy
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
  • At least two years of Labor and Delivery RN experience
