Job Description

We are seeking an IT Intern to provide technical support to our team in Somerset, New Jersey. As an IT Intern, you will be responsible for configuring, deploying, and supporting various endpoint devices, as well as troubleshooting hardware and software problems on workstations and smartphones.


Responsibilities
  • Configure, deploy, and support various endpoint devices, such as PCs, laptops, printers, barcode scanners, and cell phones throughout the Somerset locations.
  • Provide technical support to onsite and remote Park Ridge users relating to both hardware and software problems on their workstations and smartphones.
  • Report food safety and quality issues to Plant management and SQF (Safe Quality Foods).
  • Follow PIM Brands GMP rules.
  • Assist in performing necessary upgrades and configurations as necessary to support business growth as it relates to our Windows desktops and user endpoint devices.
  • Facilitate the resolution of technical problems reported by our internal and external customers through research and analysis, and further escalation when required.
  • Thoroughly document issues, as well as the analysis and design required for resolution.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A strong background in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal and organization skills; and, demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • The ability to multitask and work within team environments to accomplish set goals.

Estimated Salary Range: $18-$22 per hour
