- Average weekly pay: $1,600+
- 68.5 CPM with 1,800 miles per week
- Borough trip pay: $65.00 per trip
- Stop pay: $22.55 per stop with 20 stops per week
- Per diem pay: $40.00 per night per layover

This regional truck driving job typically consists of moving freight within a region that encompasses the surrounding areas, including Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island, Maryland, Virginia, New York, and New Jersey. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality service to our customers, while also ensuring the safe transportation of goods.
As a regional driver with Ryder, you can expect to spend overnights on the road, staying in Ryder-booked hotels when possible. You will typically be home on weekends and enjoy a start time between 2am and 4am. The route requires manual and electric pallet jack operation, which Ryder will train you on.
RequirementsTo qualify for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Valid CDL A license
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
- 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years experience within the last 10 years
- HazMat endorsement required within 90 days of hire
- Ryder will reimburse cost and provide training
