About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Store Operations Manager to join our team at Holiday Station Stores. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring that we provide exceptional customer service and maintain a safe and clean environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide and coach store staff to deliver excellent customer service in a courteous, friendly, and attentive manner.
  • Facility Maintenance: Maintain an awareness of the overall store facility's condition, notify the Store Manager of any equipment failure or maintenance/supply needs, and perform or direct store staff to perform general housekeeping duties.
  • Sales Controls: Ensure all shift sales are completed in accordance with Company policies by entering and coaching store employees to enter all transactions at the time of purchase at the correct price using the correct keys/codes.
  • Financial Controls: Keep accurate cash, sales, payroll, and inventory control records and accounts for variances.
  • Staffing Controls: Oversees the activities of store employees as directed by the Store Manager, performs shift supervision, and assumes Store Manager responsibilities when needed.
  • Security Controls: Assists the Store Manager in maintaining a safe environment for employees and customers and protecting Company assets such as information, cash, product, equipment, and property.
  • Administrative Tasks: Prepares or assists in preparing periodic sales, product, and operating reports as directed by the Store Manager.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in retail management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
