About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Analyst to join our Asset & Risk Allocation (ARA) division at the State of Wisconsin Investment Board (SWIB). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting rigorous quantitative analysis across a broad spectrum of asset classes, using advanced statistical techniques and investment insights to bolster existing and new investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement advanced statistical models to analyze and optimize investment portfolios
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify new investment opportunities and manage risk
  • Collaborate with senior team members to develop and implement investment strategies
  • Provide analysis and recommendations to support investment decisions
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and developments, and adapt investment strategies accordingly
Requirements
  • Advanced degree in finance, economics, or a related field
  • Proven ability to conduct empirical research and analyze complex data sets
  • Strong programming skills, with proficiency in languages such as Python or R
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
