About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Credit Analyst to join our Fixed Income Strategies Group at the State of Wisconsin Investment Board (SWIB). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing investment research, credit analysis, and financial modeling to support our high-performing staff in implementing our robust investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough credit analysis and financial modeling to inform investment decisions
  • Develop trade recommendations based on fundamental and relative value analysis
  • Maintain a deep understanding of macro factors driving bond prices, including economic data, interest rates, and currency impacts
  • Establish strong relationships with sell-side analysts, company management, and other SWIB investment professionals
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in leveraged finance investing, with a focus on high yield bonds and leveraged loans
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a buy-side or sell-side analyst, with a strong background in high yield bonds and loans
  • Energy and Healthcare sector coverage experience is highly preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a small team and collaborate across various SWIB investment teams
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills, with a solid understanding of financial markets and instruments
