Job Title: Member Services Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Member Services Associate to join our team at Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company. As a Member Services Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with departmental internal controls and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Process transactions in accordance with established procedures, policies, and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental internal controls and procedures, Bank policies, and Federal Housing Finance Agency regulations.
  • Support the Community Investment Cash Advance Programs (CICA) by assisting members in gathering documents, completing applications, and reviewing commitments.
  • Provide education, customer service, and problem-solving for all aspects of membership, including advances, auctions, capital stock, collateral, commitments, demand deposit accounts, domestic and foreign wires, letters of credit, letter of credit confirmations, pledges, term deposits, securities safekeeping, wire transfer PINs, and use of the external member portal.
  • Manage the flow of documentation and related communication in and out of the Bank by being the member's main point of contact through phone and email.
  • Assist with writing and troubleshooting new and existing SQL queries and SSRS reports.
  • Assist in the testing of systems and applications used by the Bank and Member Services to deliver products and services to its members.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or graduate degree in finance, business, or a related field or equivalent work experience of 3-5 years in the banking industry.
  • Understanding and working knowledge of the financial services industry.
  • Excellent speaking, listening, telephone, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, multitask, and be flexible in a high-energy environment.
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including the ability to work with multiple worksheets, filter data, use integrate functions, and manipulate databases.
  • Understanding of SQL code and ability to write and troubleshoot new and existing SQL queries working with a star-schema data warehouse, preferred.
