We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Balfour Beatty US. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating metal fabrication machinery to produce high-quality equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret mechanical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Set up and operate metal fabrication machinery, including MIG and Flux core welding equipment.
- Pass a welding certification test to demonstrate your expertise.
- Lift up to 50 pounds and use general hand tools and measuring devices.
- Perform a variety of tasks as assigned by your manager or supervisor.
- High School Diploma or 2 years of experience in the field.
- Welding certification and/or participation in an apprentice program is preferred.
