Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Welder to join our team at Strategic Logistics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding, mechanical knowledge, and experience with various welding techniques.Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize various welding techniques, including FCAW, to join metal parts and fabricate equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and manuals to ensure accurate assembly and welding.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment, including pipe threading and soldering.
  • Use a caliper to measure and verify dimensions of parts and equipment.
  • Operate cranes and forklifts to move heavy materials around the shop or construction site.
  • Assemble machinery and equipment according to specifications, using mechanical knowledge and machining skills.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Welder with a strong background in mechanical knowledge and welding techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
  • Familiarity with pipe threading and soldering processes.
  • Experience operating cranes and forklifts.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and machining skills.
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid NC driver's license.
