Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Building and nurturing effective, professional relationships with clients.
  • Overseeing client bank accounts, including account openings, closures, and transaction management to strengthen client relations.
  • Presenting and promoting banking services and products, such as checking and savings accounts, loans, and investment options, tailored to client requirements.
  • Identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly, collaborating with management and compliance teams as necessary.
  • Adhering to Teller procedures, including documentation for account management, processing deposits, and handling transactions.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Representing the bank with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Reviewing documents for accuracy and maintaining client confidentiality.
  • Balancing cash and verifying transactions daily.
  • Upholding the bank's reputation for quality service.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
Collaboration and Coordination

The role requires effective coordination and collaboration with team members and management:

  • Providing assistance to colleagues as needed.
  • Participating in training and orientation sessions.
  • Keeping supervisors informed of team activities and any issues.
  • Completing necessary reports and documentation accurately and timely.
  • Attending meetings and training sessions as required.
Additional Duties

Other responsibilities may include:

  • Handling night drop functions as assigned.
  • Performing clerical tasks as required.
  • Maintaining a clean and secure work environment.
  • Cross-selling bank products and services.
Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum of one year in a related role with cash handling experience required. Familiarity with banking operations is essential.

Skills:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Proficient in math and typing.
  • Ability to operate relevant computer applications and office equipment.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus.
