Job Title: ACM Panel Designer

Job Description

As an ACM Panel Designer at Actalent, you will be responsible for designing ACM panels to meet customer requirements and comply with company, industry standards, and governmental regulations. You will review and verify all Panel Shop drawings for accuracy and prepare all FAB drawings for ACM panels using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design ACM panels to meet customer requirements
  • Review and verify all Panel Shop drawings for accuracy
  • Prepare all FAB drawings for ACM panels using CAD software
  • Utilize existing extrusion systems for rain screen and we-seal panel systems from concept through testing and into production
  • Work independently and coordinate with shop personnel to program and run the panel routing machine, fabricate extruded aluminum framing systems, assemble panels, create and ship to job site, and ensure quality control throughout the process

Requirements:

  • Fabrication/Sheet Metal experience
  • Drafting experience
  • AutoCAD experience

Work Environment:

This position will be working in a job shop environment with hours from 6:30am-3:30pm.
