Job Description:
The High-Speed SerDes Marketing Lead will be responsible for driving the roadmap and definition of our High-Speed SerDes (56G/112G/224G and higher) and associated Ethernet controller IP products. This includes defining and executing a competitive marketing strategy based on market research, competitive analysis, market segmentation, and SWOT analysis. The ideal candidate will have prior successful design experience in SerDes IP and have worked in a product management/product marketing role.
Responsibilities:
Drive High-Speed SerDes (56G/112G/224G and higher) and associated Ethernet controller IP/products roadmap and definition based on market research, competitive analysis, market segmentation, and SWOT analysisDefine and execute a competitive marketing strategy for High-Speed SerDes (56G/112G/224G and higher) and associated Ethernet controller IP productsWork with sales, engineering, program management, and application engineering to drive product success at various customersDevelop marketing requirements and work with engineering teams to define a controller product portfolioLead development of technical marketing and sales collateralAuthor and produce competitive sales tools in the form of presentations and briefsCommunicate and evangelize products at industry events and on social mediaAble to develop or recognize creative solutions to opportunities and problemsQualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 5 years of experience in hardware or IP design with emphasis on SerDes and Ethernet standards from IEEE and OIF. Additional qualifications include demonstrable aptitude to quickly comprehend complex hardware and software solutions and 3 years of experience in a product marketing organization. Preferred qualifications include an MBA or MS in a technical field with solid business aptitude.
Benefits:
Cadence offers a competitive salary range of $150,500 to $279,500 per year, as well as incentive compensation, including bonus, equity, and benefits.
