Job Summary

Skyline Products, a leading manufacturer of sign solutions for the transportation and petroleum industries, is seeking a highly skilled Team Lead to oversee and coordinate activities of workers on our 2nd shift production crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Communication: As a Team Lead, you will be the primary point of contact for all team members, requiring excellent communication skills to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration.
  • Production Planning and Scheduling: Analyze work orders to estimate worker hours and create machining schedules that meet both internal and external needs.
  • Inventory Management and Control: Ensure supplied materials flow to the process to avoid stock-out/shortages/line stoppage/waiting.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Inspect and measure parts and products to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Process Improvement: Develop, recommend, and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
  • Employee Development and Productivity: Monitor employee productivity and maintain time and production records.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is in use and perform minor maintenance of equipment.
Requirements
  • One to two years related experience as a Team Lead in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Candidates must pass a background check and drug screen that includes marijuana.
Compensation and Benefits
  • $20-$24 an hour
  • Monday through Friday, 4:00pm - 12:30am
