Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Health Advocates Network - Midwest. As a travel RRT, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Job Summary:

The Registered Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients in a hospital setting. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide respiratory care, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Conduct patient education and provide support to patients and families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an AMA-approved Respiratory Care program
  • 2 years' experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting
  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) licensure in applicable state (IA)
  • American Heart Association BLS and ACLS for Health Care Providers
  • Additional certifications may be required
