Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Travel Nurses, Inc. for a travel assignment in Davenport, Iowa.

Job Summary:

This is a 12-week travel assignment with 36 hours per week, working 12-hour night shifts. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with various conditions, including respiratory failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and pneumonia.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
  • Current licensure and certification in respiratory therapy.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
