Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Embedded Software Developer to join our team at L3Harris. As a member of an Agile Scrum team, you will be responsible for developing software for advanced tactical radio equipment. Your expertise in embedded software development, network protocols, and C/C++ programming will be invaluable in this role.

About the Job

This position involves researching, designing, and developing embedded software for software-defined radio products. You will work closely with engineering leadership and external customers to understand requirements and generate solutions. In addition, you will develop and conduct software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation. A strong understanding of HAIPE is also required.

What We Offer

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $135,000 - $251,000. Our benefits package includes health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have mastery-level knowledge within a specific technical area or multiple job areas. A Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience are required. Alternatively, a Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience may be acceptable. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 16 years of prior related experience may be considered.

Preferred Skills

Able to work closely with engineering leadership and external customers to understand requirements and generate solutions based on customer requests. Subject matter expert with networking protocols. Experience with C, C++, and object-oriented design. Experience in embedded development on Linux platforms. Knowledge of HAIPE.
