Job Summary

The Pennsylvania State University is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Camp Counselor to join our team at the Center for Business Development and Community Outreach. As a Camp Counselor, you will assist the Camp Instructor with daily functions to ensure a quality and enjoyable learning experience for our campers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Camp Instructor with daily tasks and setup of camp materials
  • Organize camp materials and escort campers to designated break areas
  • Provide feedback to the Center for Business Development and Community Outreach
  • Participate in Mandated Reporter Training and undergo successful background checks
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to work in an outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions
  • Three clearances: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and FBI Criminal Background Check
