Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society.

Job Summary

This role involves providing high-quality patient care to assigned residents in a safe and efficient manner. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and coordinating care plans, as well as administering medications and treatments as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and develop individualized care plans for residents
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor and document resident conditions, reporting any changes or concerns to appropriate staff
  • Provide education and support to residents, families, and caregivers
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current RN licensure for the state of practice
  • Basic ability to communicate and comprehend
  • Knowledge of basic nursing skills and medication administration
