A DAY IN YOUR TAZIKI'S LIFE

As a Culinary Team Member, your day begins with the essential task of preparing fresh ingredients for our exceptional meals. Greet your colleagues, consult your prep list, and get started. You will spend time ensuring the quality of your ingredients and adhering to recipes for your designated station, while also maintaining cleanliness throughout your workspace. Before service begins, you will collaborate with your team to fulfill catering orders and prepare your station for the lunch rush. You will engage with guests, creating fresh meals to order for both dine-in and take-out customers. After the busy period, you may continue prepping for the evening shift, assist in managing the line, or participate in online training to enhance your skills or pursue leadership opportunities.

If you are part of the evening crew, you will check your station upon arrival to ensure readiness for dinner service. After receiving updates from the morning team, you will prepare any necessary items and welcome our dinner guests, crafting delicious meals for families to enjoy at home. As the evening concludes, you will tidy up your workspace, ensuring everything is in order for the next day’s team. Take pride in the number of guests you served and return the next day ready to do it all over again.

YOUR ACTIVITIES

Possible Stations Include - Prep, Salad, Grill, Roll-Up, and Expo

  • Setting up and stocking stations with necessary supplies
  • Ensuring proper food handling and minimizing waste
  • Gaining knowledge of menu items and products
  • Maintaining hygiene, uniform standards, and personal appearance
  • Preparing fresh food items daily by following our recipe guidelines
  • Efficiently managing orders
  • Adhering to Health Department Standards during each shift
  • Cleaning and maintaining kitchen, dish, and prep areas
  • Completing side work, including opening and closing tasks
  • Finishing all required training certifications for Kitchen Team Members
  • Understanding and following all company policies and standards

YOUR WORKING CONDITIONS/HOURS

You will work in a typical restaurant kitchen setting, utilizing equipment such as grills, ovens, slicers, mixers, and food processors. Your hours may vary and can include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

YOUR PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Being part of the Taziki's Culinary Team involves prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and the ability to lift items weighing 40-60 pounds to chest height without injury, along with repetitive hand and wrist movements. Accuracy and speed in fulfilling orders to our standards are essential.
