Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time Housekeeping Attendant for our Foothills campus to provide clean, sanitary, and comfortable surroundings for our clients, employees, and public. The successful candidate will promote sanitary conditions, prevent the spread of infection and odors, and maintain a high level of cleanliness in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the cleanliness of facilities, including resident rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and common areas.
  • Operate various mechanized cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, polishers, buffers, and other cleaning tools.
  • Maintain facilities in a sanitary and infection-free condition through washing, cleaning, and replacement of equipment and furnishings.
  • Dispose of trash, waste, and other disposable materials in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner.
  • Handle various cleaning solvents, chemicals, and other substances in accordance with OSHA, EPA, and State Health Department regulations.
  • Plan and schedule work to ensure major tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Damp dust furniture, light fixtures, windowsills, and other surfaces.
  • Empty trash containers and replace liners as needed.
  • Wet mop floors in resident rooms and bathrooms.
  • Damp mop corridors, lobbies, dining areas, and other high-traffic areas.
  • Clean basins, mirrors, commodes, tubs, showers, and other bathroom fixtures.
  • Clean air vents and other HVAC equipment.
  • Report any needed repairs or maintenance to the supervisor, including leaky faucets, loose tile, broken windowpanes, and other issues.
  • Wash windows as scheduled.
  • Follow instructions for the use of germicidal solutions and other cleaning products.
  • Use safety precautions when performing housekeeping services.
  • Complete additional related cleaning duties as directed by the supervisor.
