Avionics Systems Engineer

At SpaceX, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. As an Avionics Systems Engineer, you'll play a critical role in designing and developing the electrical systems that power our spacecraft.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop electrical systems for our spacecraft, including power distribution, vehicle network, and onboard sensors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate avionics systems into our spacecraft.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical hardware issues on our production schedule.
- Support vehicle pad and flight operations as an avionics operator.
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering field, science, or math.
- 2+ years of experience with electrical component design, system level integration, or system level testing.
- 1+ years of experience using software tools such as Matlab, C++, or Python.
- Competence with electrical test equipment.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Experience troubleshooting sensors, actuators, and electrical components.
- Experience with 3D CAD software.
- Software fluency, enabling automation of test or analysis tasks.
