At SpaceX, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. As an Avionics Systems Engineer, you'll play a critical role in designing and developing the electrical systems that power our spacecraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical systems for our spacecraft, including power distribution, vehicle network, and onboard sensors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate avionics systems into our spacecraft.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical hardware issues on our production schedule.
  • Support vehicle pad and flight operations as an avionics operator.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering field, science, or math.
  • 2+ years of experience with electrical component design, system level integration, or system level testing.
  • 1+ years of experience using software tools such as Matlab, C++, or Python.
Preferred Skills:
  • Competence with electrical test equipment.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Experience troubleshooting sensors, actuators, and electrical components.
  • Experience with 3D CAD software.
  • Software fluency, enabling automation of test or analysis tasks.
