Role Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Materials Analyst who will play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations. This position involves close collaboration with production and operational teams, focusing on the management of material inventories and ensuring the efficient flow of materials within our facilities. The successful candidate will leverage key performance metrics to uphold system integrity and meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate work order releases aligned with the master production schedule and inventory needs.
  • Assess and coordinate program requirements to maintain a seamless flow of materials and services.
  • Provide updates on work progress, material availability, and identify potential production challenges.
  • Engage in daily verification of material supply and demand, coordinating with various departments such as Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, and Engineering.
  • Develop and refine manufacturing production schedules, adapting to changes and optimizing processes.
  • Monitor inventory levels and troubleshoot system issues as necessary.
  • Execute expedited processes to ensure timely delivery of materials when required.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with short-term material shortages to guarantee successful delivery to customers.
  • This role is designated as an onsite position.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree coupled with two years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in Operations, Inventory Control, Supply Chain, or Material Management.
  • Familiarity with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems and methodologies.
  • Possession of an active U.S. government issued security clearance is mandatory prior to employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Visio.
