Job Summary

We are seeking a Hardware Product Specialist to play a crucial role in driving the sales of our innovative solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key decision-makers, and providing expert technical guidance to customers in the SLED industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Trafera sales team to effectively engage and guide customers, leveraging your extensive experience within Infrastructure technologies
  • Work with Trafera partners to develop go-to-market plans that will contribute to the growth of the overall business within those partners
  • Share accountability for achieving company sales targets by promoting products and solutions within the technologies you support
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within the SLED infrastructure market. Analyze competitor offerings and develop competitive positioning strategies
  • Develop compelling product positioning and messaging that resonates with SLED customers
  • Create product value propositions, and messaging that highlight the unique benefits of hardware products and solutions
  • Collaborate with Marketing team to develop and execute demand generation programs, such as content marketing, email campaigns, webinars, and events, to drive awareness and generate leads
  • Plan and execute successful product launches, including developing marketing materials and sales enablement tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth and effective go-to-market process
  • Provide sales teams with the necessary tools, training, and support to effectively sell hardware products into the SLED market. Develop sales presentations, product demos, and customer success stories
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of our hardware products and their applications within sled infrastructure, including networking, storage, and server solutions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, as well as industry influencers. Gather customer feedback and insights to drive product improvements and innovation
  • Provide general troubleshooting to customer issues when needed
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of the SLED industry and its specific hardware infrastructure requirements
  • Exceptional communication skills that allow for effective engagement with customers
  • Technical aptitude and the ability to learn new products and technologies quickly
  • Problem-Solving Skills needed. Must be analytical and possess problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges
  • Strong time management skills and a proven track record of self-motivation
  • Adaptability to a dynamic environment and the capability to manage multiple priorities
  • Collaborative skills that allow for seamless integration within a team
  • Proficient in public speaking skills for presentations at industry events and professional development sessions
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role
  • 5 years of experience working with and supporting hardware technology with an expertise in Networking, Servers, Storage, and VoIP
  • Preference will be given to candidates with industry standard certifications such as Cisco, CompTIA, etc.
Essential and Physical Requirements
  • The position is considered a remote position with some in-office work requirements
  • The ability to travel for business to tradeshows, company meetings, and customer-facing engagements is required. Travel requirements can vary throughout the year based on the demand, but travel requirements will be 50%
  • Must be able to work continuously for at least 4 hours in support of tradeshows
