Lounge Attendant

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Lounge Bartender to join our team at the Dublin Springhill Suites. As a key member of our Food and Beverage Department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and courteous service to guests, taking orders and serving beverages and light meals in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to hotel and departmental standards for safety and quality.
• Ensure compliance with all operational procedures and protocols, including those related to food and beverage safety and quality.
• Communicate effectively with guests, management, and colleagues to ensure seamless service and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the success of the department.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of experience in the Restaurant / Food and Beverage field.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• High school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred.
• ServSafe and/or food safety training a plus.
• Alcohol awareness training (such as TIPS).
• Familiarity with food and beverage cost controls.
• Ability to accurately compute basic mathematical calculations.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
