Job Title: Healthcare Payment Recovery ExpertJob Description

The Healthcare Payment Recovery Expert will be responsible for assisting in the development of a payment integrity unit that can proactively identify and investigate payment issues.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing mitigation strategies to prevent future occurrences and review impacts holistically.
  • Identify overpayment/underpayment opportunities through data mining, investigation, and quality review.
  • Support the execution and maintenance of a corporate claim accuracy program.
  • Develop and implement dashboards to monitor performance and analyze trending reports.
  • Manage day-to-day financial recovery vendor relationships and ensure identified overpayments are recouped.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree required with 5+ years' experience within claims in the healthcare or insurance industry.

Extensive knowledge of health care provider audit methods and clinical aspects of patient care.

Estimated Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per year.
