About the Role
This position will supervise all clinical staff, including therapists, LVN/LPT, and Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialists. You will be working with adults (18+) who are diagnosed with a chronic mental illness (ex: schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, depression, PTSD) and other co-occurring conditions. We are looking for someone passionate about providing supervision to a clinical team, as well as providing direct services to the client population.
Responsibilities
- Oversee quality and frequency of clinical services, providing coaching and feedback to clinical staff.
- Provide supervision and direct care services as assigned and within the scope of practice.
- Maintain a small caseload and provide direct client support.
- Provide clinical training consistent with agency standards, practices, and policies, and oversight to staff, interns, and volunteers.
- Ensure that service delivery, including assessment, crisis intervention, treatment, discharge planning, and communication of significant information, meets the needs of clients, families, and payers, and reflects sound clinical judgment.
- Review, evaluate, and/or sign documentation, including those requiring LPHA signature.
- Complete clinical records and other required documentation by the agency.
- Participate in the management of team/program discretionary resources available to meet client needs.
- Provide on-call coverage and participate in after-hours rotation, as aligned.
- Attend and participate in staff, program, agency, and community meetings and training as required.
Requirements
- Full Vaccination against COVID-19 – CA required.
- Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW), Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) - required.
- Licensed clinician (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) – preferred.
- Will accept BBS license-eligible candidates.
- Great attitude - required.
- Experience working in Mental Health or in residential care – preferred.
- We compensate you for your accomplishments and talents, including certifications, qualifications, and degrees.
