Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Floor Care Associate to join our team at Winn-Dixie Retail Stores. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the sales floor, liquor store, offices, breakrooms, backrooms, training rooms, and restrooms are kept orderly and free from safety hazards.
  • Operate floor care and department equipment, and use associated tools and chemicals to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Sweep and/or vacuum mats and rugs, and return them to their original location.
  • Remove spots from carpet and dispose of trash.
  • Perform restroom deep cleaning and other cleaning tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Ability to operate floor care and department equipment.
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods of time.
