We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Omron Automation. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mechanical systems for our robotics and automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop mechanical systems, including sheet metal, machined parts, weldments, and plastic injection moldings, using 3D CAD software.
- Generate release drawings, Bills of Materials, and Engineering Change Orders to ensure efficient manufacturing and quality control.
- Collaborate with fabrication suppliers to improve manufacturability and reduce costs.
- Perform cost analysis and develop system test plans to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop products on schedule and within budget.
- Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in mechanical components and system design.
- Extensive experience with 3D CAD software, including SolidWorks.
- Hands-on experience with product development from concept to production release.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
As a Staff Mechanical Engineer at Omron Automation, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge robotics and automation projects, collaborate with a talented team of engineers, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions that transform industries. We offer a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $175,000 per year, plus an annual performance-based bonus program.
