About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Omron Automation. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mechanical systems for our robotics and automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems, including sheet metal, machined parts, weldments, and plastic injection moldings, using 3D CAD software.
  • Generate release drawings, Bills of Materials, and Engineering Change Orders to ensure efficient manufacturing and quality control.
  • Collaborate with fabrication suppliers to improve manufacturability and reduce costs.
  • Perform cost analysis and develop system test plans to ensure product quality and reliability.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop products on schedule and within budget.
Requirements
  • Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in mechanical components and system design.
  • Extensive experience with 3D CAD software, including SolidWorks.
  • Hands-on experience with product development from concept to production release.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
