Job Summary

The Process Equipment Engineer III will provide specialized fabrication and characterization services to support the operation and maintenance of research laboratory systems. This role involves directing projects and guiding other engineers and technical staff, setting performance goals, and conducting evaluations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Process Optimization: Spearhead efforts to enhance and test both new and existing process applications.
2. Equipment Reliability: Oversee redesign initiatives to boost equipment reliability and availability.
3. Project Management: Create engineering project timelines and assign tasks effectively.
4. Performance Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses of laboratory equipment and process performance.
5. Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive plans, specifications, and procedures for laboratory operations.
6. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve equipment and process issues, including overseeing calibration and repair tasks.
7. Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed drawings, schematics, and related documentation for assigned equipment.
8. Budget Management: Manage engineering project budgets and address procurement challenges.

Qualifications

Educational Background:
A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
A minimum of four to five years of relevant professional experience.

Skills and Abilities

This position requires advanced knowledge of fabrication processes and equipment engineering principles. Proficiency in regulatory compliance, safety practices, and project management is essential, along with experience using relevant technical software and databases.
