Division/Program Overview

Our 16-bed facilities offer a safe and supportive environment for adults with mental health challenges or recent crises. Our 24/7 programs provide an alternative to urgent care or hospitalization, allowing individuals to receive counseling, learn basic living and interpersonal skills, and access physical and psychological evaluation, mental health, and case management services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct client care, including medication administration and injections.
  • Engage clients and families to determine physical health status.
  • Formulate and implement effective nursing care plans, understanding psychiatric illness and its treatment.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of age-related development and other issues for the population.
Requirements
  • One year of full-time equivalent experience working in a program serving persons with mental disabilities, or completion of 20 hours of on-the-job training within one year of employment.
  • One year of medication administration experience.
  • Valid California LVN or LPT license.
  • Valid California Driver's license preferred.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • First Aid certification from qualified agencies.
