Job Summary:

The Licensed Vocational Nurse LVN will be responsible for overseeing detoxing clients, ensuring that all medical processes and operations are followed, and documenting patient care. The ideal candidate will have a current, valid license to practice nursing and be willing to undergo a drug screen, TB, and physical.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise other licensed and non-licensed staff in the delivery of patient care.
  • Prepare and review medical records and nurses' notes to evaluate patient status.
  • Provide nursing care according to physician orders, care plans, and established standards.
  • Prepare and monitor patient-administered medications as ordered by the physician.
  • Sign, date, and perform all charting, record-keeping, and care plans in accordance with established policies.
Requirements:
  • Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license or LPT license.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and email.
  • Ability to coordinate with professionals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Commitment to the philosophy of recovery and continuity of the program.
  • Customer service-oriented, professional attitude.
