Key Responsibilities- Participate in an 8-12 month program designed to accelerate your career in credit by teaching you the basics of credit management, sales process, and customer relations.
- Learn and apply core competencies including systems and processes, emotional intelligence, collections management, credit management, customer relations, and financial statement analysis.
- Develop strong relationships with customers and sales teams to drive business growth and achieve an acceptable return on receivables investment.
- Assist in the operation of the business, including time in the warehouse, on the sales counter, and riding with delivery drivers.
- 0-3 years of work experience post-bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
- Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, customer-service driven company with a strong desire to enter a career credit development program.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including face-to-face conversations, phone conversations, and presenting in front of groups.
- Ability to build relationships with high emotional intelligence and people skills.
- Willingness to learn and be part of a team.
Upon successful completion of the program, you will be prepared to take on the role of Assistant Market Credit Manager (AMCM), where you will own a portfolio of accounts with millions in account receivable. As an AMCM, you will be responsible for the extension of credit and collection of the A/R, and will have the opportunity to grow into the Market Credit Manager role.
