About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team at ECHN. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our critical care environment.

Estimated salary range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform safe respiratory therapy modalities as ordered by physician, developing a plan of care based on assessment data and standards of care.
  • Set up, maintain, and monitor mechanical ventilation according to policy and procedure.
  • Administer medications demonstrating thorough knowledge of policy and procedure.
  • Assemble, select, and operate equipment for proper operation and cleanliness.
Requirements
  1. Graduate of an approved Respiratory Care program.
  2. Hold the credential of Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) from the National Board of Respiratory Care.
  3. Current license from the State of Connecticut to practice as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
