Business Analyst/Manual Tester

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Manual Tester/Business Analyst to join our team at Capgemini. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our client's Point of Sale (POS) systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test cases based on business and functional requirements.
  • Identify and document defects, working with developers to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements, ensuring test coverage aligns with business objectives.
  • Maintain clear records of test results and defect reports for easy traceability.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and developers, to support project delivery.
  • Assist in refining testing and project delivery processes.
Requirements:
  • Experience in manual testing with exposure to business analysis or a desire to grow into a BA role.
  • Business Analysis Acumen: Experience or strong interest in gathering requirements, working with stakeholders, and aligning testing activities with business goals.
  • Analytical Thinking: Excellent ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and communicate complex issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills, especially in documenting and explaining findings.
  • Team Player: Comfortable collaborating in cross-functional teams, with an interest in mentoring and learning from peers.
  • Agile Experience: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • POS System Experience: Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus but not required.
