KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* LITTER REMOVAL - Navigate through the assigned area with a rolling cart equipped with necessary supplies to perform the following duties:
- Collecting trash, including fast food wrappers, beverage containers, and other litter from sidewalks, streets, and alleys. Maintaining a clean and welcoming environment is a primary focus.
- Eliminating graffiti and unauthorized posters from public structures such as light poles and trash receptacles. Vigilance is key in identifying and removing unsightly materials.
- Managing weed growth by pulling out unwanted plants from sidewalks, tree wells, and vacant lots. Regular weed control is essential to maintain aesthetics.
- Cleaning and sanitizing horizontal surfaces, including trash can lids and newsstands. Ensuring all touchpoints are hygienic is crucial.
* OBSERVATION AND REPORTING - While on patrol, remain alert for suspicious activities and communicate findings to designated safety personnel using two-way radios. Clear and accurate descriptions of individuals and vehicles are necessary.
* CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT - During patrols, actively greet pedestrians and assist visitors with directions and information about the area. Building rapport with the public is a vital aspect of this role.
* DOCUMENTATION - Ability to produce written reports detailing infrastructure issues, graffiti incidents, and daily accomplishments. Familiarity with mobile devices for reporting purposes is required.
* PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT - Uphold a professional demeanor in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company standards. Representing the organization positively in public is of utmost importance.
