Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Naperville, IL. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing students referred for possible speech and language needs, presenting evaluation results and proposing Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals at IEP meetings, and providing individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
  • Present evaluation results and propose Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals at IEP meetings.
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
  • Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations.
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload and provide reports of student progress to parents.
  • Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school.
  • Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders.
  • Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License, issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).
  • Professional Educators' License (PEL), issued by the Illinois State Board of Education.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Solid organization.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Illinois Special Education procedures and best practices for SLPs in school settings.
  • Professionalism and accountability.
