Paramedic/Firefighter - Fox Lake

At Superior Ambulance, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paramedic/Firefighter to join our team in Fox Lake. As a Paramedic/Firefighter, you will be responsible for providing medical care and transportation for patients at the Paramedic/Firefighter level, within your scope of practice, as stipulated by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and/or EMS Commission of Illinois.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide medical care and transportation for patients at the Paramedic/Firefighter level
- Work collaboratively with emergency medical services (EMS) teams to provide emergency medical care
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain certification and stay up-to-date with industry standards
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations
- Paramedic License
- Firefighter II or Basic Operations Firefighter Certification
- 1 year experience
- CPR Certified
- 21 Years of age
- Valid Illinois Driver's License
- ACLS (Metro will train)
- PALS (Metro will train)
- Successfully completion of pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check
